Cornerstone Living Church is a messianic and missionary work founded on Jesus Christ. The vision that Bishop Mawit has received from the Lord is a missionary vision articulated around this great commission: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matthew 28: 19-20). |

Here is a brief summary of this vision:
Reach out to the lost and bring them to Jesus Christ;
Disciple souls for Jesus Christ by teaching them and strengthening them in their faith;
Train the disciples to help them discover and better understand their calling into divine service; |

Send missionaries and implement missions wherever and whenever needs arise, in the limits of our means;
Be a blessing to other ministries, churches, and God’s Servants.
Our vision received from the Lord being a missionary one, we are preoccupied with the training of workers in different fields of missionary work, to help them better understand their calling and improve their equipment for a better fulfilment of the tasks that the Lord gives them.
However, we are also preoccupied with the salvation of souls and with the training of disciples, for the sole glory of the name of Jesus. The glory of the Lord is indeed the prime goal of all our actions, as it is summarised in our motto.
We buckle down as well to being a blessing to other churches and ministries.
Our actions focus on three major axes, which are evangelism, intercession and the teaching of the Word of God, of course without neglecting the other aspects of Christian life and of ecclesial activities. |
